Mahdi is a principal structural engineer with over 12 years of experience in structural design, seismic assessment, retrofit, and project delivery across commercial, residential, healthcare, and industrial sectors in New Zealand and abroad. He holds a PhD in Structural and Earthquake Engineering from the University of Canterbury and has expertise in advanced seismic analysis, mass timber systems, and performance-based design.
